After years of driving in and around Chattanooga, Tennessee and being taunted by ‘See Rock City’ billboards.. I have finally seen Rock City! Fritz had always told me that it was something touristy and cheesy that he and his family did when he was younger – and thus it was never a priority for him to join me there. So thus, ‘See Rock City’ simply chanted in my mind whenever driving around the south and seeing the familiar red birdhouse signs.
So, Chris and I made it a priority to stop in on our journey across country. After leaving
Also while in the Atlanta area, we stopped in to visit with some folks who invited us over via one of the T@B forums – as they also own a clamshell Tab like Chris and I are traveling around in. It was an extremely delightful evening, and true to their pitch to entice us over – it was a delicious home cooked meal AND they weren’t ax murderers. We had a great time wandering around the Little Five Points area near their home. Plus, we got some cool photo of our twin Tabs:
And now, we’re on our way to the St. Louis area, with a stop in Nashville for dinner.
