We pulled out of Nyla & Keith’s on Friday afternoon, got a few errands run in Fallon and then headed out of town. We had a few destinations in mind on they way back to Sacramento in order to get a day or two alone together before reemerging into civilization. We stopped at the first, Lahontan Reservoir – not even 20 miles from Fallon.
We pulled in and found a nice boondocking spot along the beach, decided we were both incredibly tired and decided to stay for a night. We both immediately feel asleep. It’s now Sunday.
Well, ok.. we didn’t sleep the entire time. There was some hiking along the beach and movie watching (we streamed ‘Blue States’ over Netflix’s new Mac support – awesome!). But not much else. Lots and lots of sleep.
It felt really good to veg without human contact for a couple of days. I don’t think I’ve felt this tired since post-surgery earlier this year.
We’re now along Lake Tahoe for the evening, and will head to Sacramento tomorrow to visit with Lindsay and Sean.
