We recently did a quick trip up to Seattle so that I could teach a training class for one of my clients. We had to get back much quicker than we were originally planning, so that we could start on our new work contract back here in San Francisco.
On the way up, we of course stopped in Lebanon, OR and encountered Kiki, who joined us up in Seattle on a trial run to see how she did on the road.
It was a quick but fun trip, and we got to visit with many friends and see some great sights.
This being my third trip to Seattle, and having seen Mt. Rainier about 80% of my time in the area, I no longer believe the locals that they hardly ever see it. I love this image we captured after our training class – the cloud formation makes it look like Mt. Rainier is erupting (it wasn’t).

After Seattle, we headed up to Camano Island, and visited with the original Technomad, Steve Roberts. It was too short of a visit to go see his newest creation, Nomadness, but I did get a tour of Nomadic Research Labs. The three of us had fun geeking out throughout the evening. I look forward to future longer visits.
We took two days to drive back down to the Bay Area – viewing Mt. Shasta for a second time.
We opted not to stop back in Lebanon, as we decided to invite Kiki to become part of Technomadia. Our Journey back to San Francisco was capped off with a brief visit to Sacramento to see Lindsay & Sean.
