We seem to have gotten quite a bit of media mention this month so far – and quite honestly, we’re completely humbled by it. Some of it was pieces we knew were coming and others quite unexpected! Here’s a round up thus far for this month:
Nomadic Standard Time on Makezine.com – The blog site for the truly awesome Make Magazine, featured our Living on NST – Nomadic Standard Time – totally to our surprise.
Inside the Traveller’s Mind on Travellious.com – This was an interview we’ve been working on with Kelley for a while now.
Chicken Lips + City Squawk + Technomadia.com #65 on KHEN.Org – Upon arriving in Salida, CO last week we were invited to be guests on Chicken Lips on KHEN.Org – the local community radio station. As we regularly listen to the Chicken Lips podcast as we travel to stay in touch with one of our favorite towns and their hosts and ourfriends, Teresa & Andrew Koransky – we of course said yes! They also play some of the best music! You can download the podcast now and hear our interview – we’re about an hour into the show after the mayor.
The Motivation for Long-Term Travel on TransitionsAbroad.com – An interview we did with Nora Dunn, The Professional Hobo, was written up in an article that features other fabulous full time travelers such as SoulTravelers3, Indie Travel Podcast, Ottsworld, Thrilling Heroics and Location Independent. What an awesome group of folks to be included with!
Member of the Month Nomination on TripFilms.com – The travel film resource, TripFilms, has nominated for member of the month. Click through to vote for us, and check out some of their great videos! They’re like a YouTube geared for independent travel. Pretty cool stuff, and great folks!
It’s a Great Big World Out There on TheTinyLife.com – A totally unexpected mention on this site serving the Tiny House movement. They featured us and Location Independent as resources for living in tiny dwellings.
Everyday is Travel and Everyday is Being at Home on PresentDayNomads.com – Another interview we had been working on was published recently, with some interesting new questions that we hadn’t been asked before. Please also help welcome this new blog to the nomadic life by design space!
Wow.. and the month is only 1/3 of the way in. We’re completely blown away by all of the attention lately.
