Chances are, that most folks reading this are waking up to some awfully darn chilly weather. So, we’ll do our part to help spread the warmth from our tropical island life.
Enjoy!
Trunk Bay – St. John’s most famous beach – as seen from the Peace Hill hiking trail. Rated as one of the top in the world by a few sources. We’ve not snorkeled there yet, as it’s always crowded with tourists, and it’s said that the reefs there are pretty damaged. We’ll get there one day.. we’re enjoying the more remote beaches for now.
Hawksnest Bay, is just before Trunk Bay on your way out of Cruz Bay. Just love the clear water around this island!
From our island tour with blogless nomad Trevor on our rendezvous last weekend.
From one of our hikes with Trevor on the Francis Bay trail – it turned submerged for a good bit, so we just hiked on through! He’s also wintered in the USVI, and we look forward to more adventures with him!
A view of Coral Bay (our side of the island) from Centerline Road (the main road across the island) just before sunset.

Ah, I hate you. But… but! We’re in 80 degree weather in LA. So no hiking to secluded beaches, but wonderful outdoors temperatures.
