The park our campground was in while in Melbourne, FL was also the host of the Space Coast Lightfest. Which meant every evening we had to ride through 1.1 miles of light displays to get back home. We got to know these displays rather well.
They included all of the holiday traditional favorites…

Beautiful displays (and great photos). I especially love the space shuttle… so Florida Spacecoast Christmas. Must have been an interesting drive to the campground!
Happy New Year

Awesome! I especially love the snowman at the end – I assume he’s blowing? But it looks far more (to me) like he’s bracing himself to be impaled… obviously my mind works in strange ways!
There’s a guy near us in Roleystone, in the hills north of Perth (Western Australia) that goes the whole hog – the front of his land is about 20m and it’s lined, and filled for the whole depth back to his house, with lighted vignettes. Apparently he does it every year, and every year they get bigger – but despite swallowing his house in bulbs, he still never makes the paper’s round-up of the bast lights! Poor guy… the perils of living in the countryside = irrelevance to the world at large.
Happy Holidays folks!

Hahaha… yeah, in a still long exposure photo, it could look that way! The displays were actually ‘in motion’, this one with Frosty blowing cold outwards.

You made the news, congrats! http://finance.yahoo.com/news/welcome-to-amazon-town.html

Isn’t that cool? The Wall Street Journal picked up on us working Amazon 2 years ago and we were one of his fact finding folks he interviewed early in his research. He wanted to work us somehow into the story to thank us. Always amazes us how much press we’ve gotten from doing something so mundane.
