Six years ago this week, we met in person for the first time. Last year I wrote more about our sappy love story.
When Chris picked me up at a friend’s place near San Francisco, we discovered we had dressed exactly alike – both wearing matching purple shirts and blue jeans.
We were so meant to be together.
Our first date was nearly 28 hours long including overnight boondocking in his super tiny trailer. We ended the first by planning the second six weeks later across the country at my home in Melbourne, FL. We’ve been inseparable since, sharing as little as 45 square feet of living space for months on end.
There are few items have stayed with us all six years of our relationship and nomadic journey.
But our purple shirts are amongst them.
We tend to wear them on our day. And since we are parked back in Melbourne, we decided we needed to re-create our first date shot with an intercoastal causeway behind us.
Yup we’re dorks. Dorks madly in love with one another.
