Meet Brice and Rose
In 2010, we met the Tacky Texans – Brice & Rose – during one of our visits to Austin, TX. This young couple was intrigued by small house living, minimalism and creating a mobile lifestyle. They had just taken a huge step towards that by purchasing and moving into a travel trailer, but still needed to figure out a mobile income source.
We convinced them to join us at the NuRVers Gathering nearby to meet other younger full time RVers, and we got an interview with them there.
Fast forward two years later on another visit to Austin, and we had the opportunity to catch up with Brice. He agreed to a follow-up interview to bring us up to date on how that experiment worked, and the exciting new nomadic adventure he had just embarked on.
While things didn’t work out as they initially planned (yes, Brice and Rose went their separate ways) this is an inspiring story of being bold enough to keep trying things on until you find what works for you.
The video below contains both an initial interview with both of them, and then the 2-year follow-up with Brice.

Thanks for posting all the good, bad, and ugly sides. Hate to see it when people don’t make it, but then maybe they do, by deciding that sticks and bricks are where they ought to be.

We just want travel, we don’t want to be full timers, but I need an online job in order to do what we want.
Can anyone help with the online job?
