A couple weeks ago a reader chatted us up and asked if we had any resources about workspaces other RVers have created.
Our immediate thought was… what a great idea for a series! So off I went to poke some fellow working-on-the-road RVers for photos of their workspaces to start creating a new little corner on our blog.
Here’s the first round of brand new profiles to help inspire ideas for creating a mobile workspace. Click on the headers or photo to learn more about how each RVer overcame their space challenges to create a thrivable workspace:

As we continue to collect new entries, we’ll be featuring mobile office spaces. The entire series will have a permanent and growing home at Full Time RVing Workstations & Offices.
We hope that you’ll enjoy this series, and it helps inspire ideas for what is possible for carving out an income producing workspace in an RV. I know I’m going to love collecting all these fantastic stories!
Thank you to everyone who has shared their office space to help inspire others! Would you like your RVing workspace featured? Send an e-mail to contact@technomadia.com, using the other listings as a general template for the information we’d like to showcase. Thanks – we’d love to show off what you’ve done too!

Great blog, thanks for sharing!
Any advice for a fellow developer (C# ASP/MVC) on how to transition from full time on site corporate work to the technomad work?

Hi Wes, and welcome!
We offer our free ‘No Excuses: Go Nomadic’ series at https://www.technomadia.com/excuses which is our brain dump on the logistical stuff. Check it out. If you’d like some individualized guidance about your unique transition, we do offer ‘pick our brains’ sessions. Be in touch if that’s of interest. Thanks!

I don’t have any pictures but what we did was utilize two 3 foot articulating flat screen wall mounts and affixed the monitors in a way that they could be swiveled to different positions. I utilize the recliner as my desk with a “lap desk” where my wireless keyboard (Velcro’d to the lap desk) and mouse reside. It is a very ergo and comfortable workspace. When not working the monitors double as TVs. We utilize high-end laptops that are secured away in a hidden and ventilated compartment along with backup drives and a printer. The nice thing about all of this is that in 2 minutes everything is completely put-up or folded away.
All billing is handled virtually and any paper is immediately scanned and shredded. The entire setup has served us well for 4 years now.

Love this series! Tried to send you in our workspace but your email address didn’t work.

Hmm.. not sure why the e-mail address wouldn’t work. Certainly have gotten plenty lately… try again? contact@technomadia.com

Great topic! It’s nice to see the different types of RVs and different ways that people approach this.
Due to the nature of my work I have some extra hardware that I need, and some hardware that I don’t need, but want to take with us.
Every RV we look at gets the “How can I fit my office in here” treatment.
