Meet Cheng Liu
Meet Cheng Liu – she grew up in China, came to the US as a software programmer, and was living in Boston when she decided she wanted a mobile lifestyle.
Her company was onboard with the idea of her working remotely from an RV – but her boyfriend wasn’t keen on the idea of joining her.
They were able to peacefully separate so she could explore her dream.
The interview was filmed in early 2014 catching her just 3 months into her journey and includes a 1-year follow-up about the changes she’s undergone.
She’s still on the road, and getting ready to end her programming career to focus more on her other passions of sustainability and volunteerism.
We hope you enjoy meeting Cheng Liu as much as we did!

Your blog gives me hope. I am a teacher assistant hoping to full-time soon. I do not have current steady income but have faith that it will come. I know I am capable and have a dream. I sure hope to make it happen. I am married and have two small pets so I am constantly researching and exploring new ideas. Thank you so much for your blogs and videos.

Very nice post. Chang seems to really have it together. It’s quite inspirational to hear her story of growing up on China, coming to the eastern US and loving/working there for nearly a decade, then deciding to hit the road in an RV. I think that’s quite impressive.
