We’re back from Alaska and enjoying our last few days in the Pacific Northwest. We just loved Vancouver so much on our way up, we had to return.
We’ll get back to updating you on the final chapters of our Alaskan Adventure (including the RV rental, time in Seward and the return cruise south) – but right now, we wanted to make a special announcement.
As it turns out, our friends Peter & John of The RV Geeks are still in the area, and we’ll be getting together later this week for a few days to explore the city together. We’re actually renting an apartment together downtown, which will be super cool!
If you’re not familiar with them, they post a lot of great how-to instructional videos on Do-It-Yourself RV projects – like tire inflation, cleaning windshields and dumping the tanks. (You know, the type of stuff you just need to know as a RVer!). You definitely should be subscribed to their popular YouTube Channel.
Here’s a great video introduction they just made to introduce their faces to their audience (they usually just show their hands):
We thought it would also be fun to team up this weekend and combine our backgrounds and experience for some special collaborative video events. Together, we have over 20 years of full time RVing experience to share.
So, here’s the line-up for this Saturday, July 18 (read on for details):
- 2pm PDT – ‘Installing Antennas on Your RV Roof’ (a Mobile Internet Aficionados exclusive)
- 3:30pm PDT – ‘Leaving Your RV Behind – Tips for Closing it Up’ (Our monthly FREE video chat!)
2pm PDT / 5pm EDT
‘Installing Antennas on your RV Roof’
(Member Exclusive)
This will be an exclusive Mobile Internet Aficionados event (our premium membership group we run over at RVMobileInternet.com – designed for those who rely on mobile internet for their RVing lifestyle to ‘stay in the know’).
Peter & John have put out their latest instructional video on installing their new WiFiRanger (a product we use ourselves, and often recommend) – so this interactive presentation and Q&A will be taking it a bit further and sharing tips on routing cables, installation techniques, antenna placement and more.
It’ll touch on WiFiRanger of course, but also on other antenna types too… and we’ll take questions from our members.
Check out of full announcement about this chat, and view the WiFiRanger Install Video:

3:30pm PDT / 5:30pm EDT
‘Leaving Your RV Behind – Tips for Closing it Up’
Our monthly FREE live video chat!
Peter & John will also be teaming up with us to present our regular monthly live video chat. Since we’ll both be presenting while away from our respective RVs, it’s a very time appropriate topic.
Even full-time RVers sometimes travel without their RV — whether for non-RV vacations, business meetings or heading back home’ for a family affair. From a couple day adventure to months away. We’ll share ideas of where to leave your RV to what you need to do to prepare your RV to best make sure you don’t return to any surprises (like spoiled food or water damage).
As usual, we’ll wrap up the video with an interactive Q&A – so bring your questions.
To join this one:

Or RSVP to our Facebook Event | Sign-Up for E-mail Reminders
This one is completely free to attend – our gift to you. (But we always appreciate contributions to our wine & dine fund – just use the ‘Leave a Tip’ button at the bottom of every page of our website.)
If you can’t make it, it’ll be archived to our Video Chat Center for viewing later.
We hope you’ll be able to attend one of these events and take advantage of accessing all of this knowledge and experience! And it should be a lot of fun, we tend to laugh non-stop with these guys.
And stay tuned for our continued Alaskan tales as we pick up the series now that we’re back south.
