RV: Vintage Trailer (trailer)
On the Road Since: August 2013
Workspace Goal: To move our handcrafted bag design studio into a mobile space by converting a vintage trailer we found on Craigslist for $750.
Starting place:
The trailer needed to be completely gutted, which we did ourselves, pulling up 5 layers of carpeting!
Current setup:
And then we built our ideal workshop ourselves – complete with sewing machine and ironing station! As much as we’d like to sleep in our trailer there’s no room for us… It currently serves as our studio, housing our industrial Juki sewing machine, fabric, cutting table, and computer.
